MGA was conceived by Dr. Andrew Benson, the W.W. Marshall Distinguished Professor of Biotechnology at the University of Nebraska. With a powerful combination of experience in microbiome research, and genomic biology of food microorganisms, Dr. Benson has the insights to customize microbiome analyses to your needs. Providing expertise for the programming and computational aspects are Dr. Khalid Sayood, Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Ufuk Nalbantoglu. Collectively, this team has developed and validated commercial-scale pipelines to process and analyze NGS data. Finally, MGAs customized databases are developed and managed by Mr. The Nguyen who has over 10+ years of experience as a database and IT consultant.
